Divisional Soccer Players in U11 to U18 teams play Divisional soccer. In Divisional soccer, there are Gold, Silver, and Bronze teams, which boys and girls are allocated to based on tryouts each spring. Divisional players must be registered with the Vancouver Youth Soccer Association to play other Vancouver and district teams in divisional games. To do this, parents must provide Point Grey Soccer with an official document that verifies the player's age: a photocopy or scanned image of of the player’s birth certificate, passport, or Canadian immigration document.
Mini & Micro Soccer Players in U7 to U10 teams play Mini soccer. Players aged 5 years old play Micro soccer. To help every player and team have an enjoyable season, the Mini & Micro soccer Coordinators do their best to make sure children are playing with friends, and that teams are equally balanced. If you have requests for teammates or coaches you would like your son or daughter to play with, please put them on the registration form. While the overriding concern is that teams be equally balanced, we do try to ensure that boys and girls are playing with at least one friend noted on the registration form.
