Kathryn Baker and Sophie Beaudry have just been named to the U14 girls and U13 girls All Tournament teams at the recently concluded USL Y League Championships in Tampa, Florida.This is a tremendous accomplishment given the depth of talent at this tournament in every age group.

Both Kathryn and Sophie played their formative years at Pt. Grey Soccer until moving on to the Vancouver Metro program in Kathryn's case and a move to England in Sophie's case.

While it's been many years since a player who went through mini and the early divisional years on the west side has made a Provincial team, hopefully accolades like this will draw attention to the elite players in girls soccer in Vancouver when it comes time to select this year's Provincial select teams.
