Point Grey Soccer Club offers a wide variety of youth soccer training programs to help its players reach their full potential. In addition to player development camps, the Club also offers initiatives aimed at supporting our volunteer coaches, and clinics to train players who are interested in becoming referees.
The training and development programs are coordinated by Gregor Young, the Club's full-time Technical Director. Gregor is now in his sixth season as the Club's Technical Director and is a former Canadian National Team player who has his B National Coaching Certification. He played four years in the Canadian Soccer League, including two with the Vancouver 86ers (now Whitecaps). Previous to that he was a five time All Canadian with the UBC Men's soccer team. Gregor has been a professional soccer coach for the past eight years and has lived on the west side of Vancouver for the past 19 years.
Recognizing that parents play a key role in the club, we’ve also put together information on what parents can expect of the club and their coach, and vice versa.
