A) Preparing to Receive Uniforms and Equipment
Each coach/manager must follow the following procedure leading up to picking up their teams uniform and equipment on Uniform and Equipment Distribution Day. A team volunteer/volunteers should be involved in completing the tasks below.

  • Contact your coaches and managers and collect a Risk Management Form from each. You must have a Risk Management Form from every Coach and Manager who appears on your Affiliation Form to pick your Uniform and Equipment.
  • Complete the uniform portion of the Uniform and Equipment Form . This is a Word file will allow you to copy and past names and email addresses. If you have trouble opening as for assistance from a team member with Word. Leave the Equipment section blank.
  • Complete the form and email it the Administrator (click here). Add your U-level, Gender and Team Name to the Subject line of the email ie) Uniform and Equipment - U11 G Crumpets.
  • Print off a two copies of the form.
  • Send an email to each team parent or guardian requesting a cheque for $75 (dated March 1 (next spring) and made out to Point Grey Soccer Club). You must collect a cheque from each team member/guardian prior to picking up your uniforms. There will be one uniform issued for every cheque received.
  • Make a note of cheques received with on the printed form.
  • Take one copy of the form and the cheques to the Club House (8th and Trimble by the tennis courts) on Uniform and Equipment Distribution Day.
  • Keep one copy of the form for your records and for season end return.

B) Replenishing Equipment Mid Season
GMAX sports will replace any uniforms and equipment on a one in, one out basis:

  • Balls that fail during the season (new or old).
  • Torn or damaged uniforms or pinnies.
  • Cones.

C) Steps in the Process of Returning Your Uniforms and Equipment
A team volunteer/volunteers should be involved in completing the tasks below.  Parents appreciate all the hard work coaches and managers put in during the season and will be pleased to pitch in.

  • Collect uniforms (shirts and shorts) from all players. For mini's, the easiest way to do this is to ask all players/parents to bring a change of clothing to the Mini Jamboree. After their last game collect all the uniforms and take them home for a wash and thorough dry.
  • Prepare uniforms for return:
    • Reference your old Uniform and Equipment form from the beginning of the season to determine your starting inventory.
    • Tick off jerseys and shorts by player.
    • Socks are not returned.
    • Launder and thoroughly dry the uniforms.
    • Neatly fold uniforms and place in plastic bag.
  • Prepare equipment for return:
    • Launder equipment bag (even the red and white canvas bags may be laundered but in cold water, hang bags to dry)
    • Brush off balls and cones.
    • If you have balls that are constantly going flat place them in a separate plastic bag.
    • Return equipment to bag
    • List how many of each piece of equipment is being returned in the box indicated on the form.
  • Bring form along with the uniform and equipment bag to the Clubhouse (just east of the tennis court at Trimble park on the date indicated on your equipment return email notice).
